The Harrow in the Hughenden Valley prides itself on being a traditional village pub, with an emphasis on creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

With exposed wooden beams and brick walls as well as warming wood burners, the pub is cosy and comfortable and has the added bonus of a beer garden for when the summer finally rolls around.

The Harrow’s home cooked food, which is prepared from fresh on-site, is a big draw for locals and visitors to the area alike, and owner Fi Brocklebank thinks they do “one of the best Sunday lunches in Bucks” – and is so popular, Sunday booking is essential.

If you fancy a pint after work, you can also take advantage of the pub’s lager hour every weekday from 4pm to 6pm.

The pub is also dog and children friendly and is conveniently located just a five minute drive from the popular National Trust site, Hughenden Manor, for those who want to make a day of their visit to the area.
