A motorcyclist suffered head, back, pelvic and leg injuries after a “serious” crash yesterday afternoon.
The man was taken to Wexham Park Hospital after crashing with a car on Marlow Road at about 4.10pm.
Emergency services raced to the scene, with an air ambulance landing nearby,= as paramedics treated the injured motorcyclist, who remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Marlow Road was closed between Clay Lane and Seymour Plain for over two hours, causing traffic chaos across High Wycombe and Marlow.
The air ambulance was sent to the crash scene because of the man’s multiple injuries, but was not used to transport the victim to hospital.
A rapid response vehicle, ambulance and a number of police cars also attended.
