A road in High Wycombe town centre was cordoned off yesterday afternoon after an attempted robbery.
Priory Road was closed from Primark up to Hamilton Academy for about two hours following the incident between Castle Street and Priory Avenue at around 2pm yesterday.
Officers have now confirmed that they are investigating an attempted robbery in the area.
The offender is white, male and of a large build.
It has not yet been confirmed if anyone was hurt during the incident.
