A woman’s home was burgled in broad daylight yesterday afternoon while she was in the living room police say.
At around 2pm on Friday, April 29 the victim – a woman in her 50’s – was at the property on Roberts Ride in Hazlemere when she heard the doorbell ring.
She did not answer but three minutes later heard a loud bang, and when she went to investigate she discovered a man stood in the front door wearing a scarf over his face.
He told her to go back in to the living room, which she did, and she then heard a second man shouting before they both left.
Nothing was stolen during the burglary and the woman was not injured.
