A graffiti attack on a war memorial in Chesham has been branded "disgusting" by the town's mayor.
The words "War is not glorious" were sprayed on the memorial with silver paint over the bank holiday weekend.
Peter Hudson tweeted his anger at the act of vandalism, which was partially cleaned off yesterday.
