A popular Marlow park was transformed in to an authentic French market for the 10th year running this bank holiday weekend.

Visitors enjoyed three days of traditional French produce in Higginson Park including breads, cheeses, handbags and soaps at the annual event.

Marlow has strong links to France, with regular exchange trips taking place between Marlovians and twin town Marly-le-Roi near Paris.

Town mayor, Cllr Bob Johnson said: “I was delighted to greet our friends from the Normandy region for our annual French market over the 3 days of the bank holiday weekend.

“It was good that the sunshine greeted their arrival in Marlow. Their stalls and displays were magnificent and the food quite delicious.

“This is the 10th year and we hope this regular tradition will survive for many years to come.”
