With temperatures set to reach as high as 24 degrees in south Bucks this weekend, the BFP has put together a list of ten ways you can make best use of the sun:

1) Take a dip in the Wycombe Rye Lido

The Lido, previously called Holywell Mead Pool, recently re-opened after a £200,000 revamp. 

2) Visit Bekonscot Model Village and Railway

One of the county's most loved attractions is open 10am - 5.30pm, seven days a week.

3) Take a walk along the river in Marlow

Marlow's riverside holds some of the most picturesque scenes in the county with The Compleat Angler being an ideal location for up-market meal.

4) Visit Odds Farm Park

The park was recently named as one of the top 20 farm parks in the UK.

5) Play a round of golf at one of Bucks' many courses

Wycombe Heights golf club is a good option this weekend for any 'fair weather players'.

6) Stop off at Crazy Bear for a poolside drink

The Beaconsfield establishment with its outdoor pool and bar area is a classy location for a summer drink.

7) Go along to Marlow's May Fayre 

Marlow’s annual May Fayre takes place tomorrow from 10am to 5pm. The event will raise money for charities and community groups in the area.

8) Take a stroll along the River Chess

The river in Chesham is home to a wide range of wildlife including ducks and swans.

9) Visit Hughenden Mannor

The High Wycombe National Trust site has been restored in recent years to reflect the colourful creation of Mary-Anne Disraeli, the wife of the Victoria Prime Minister Benjamin.

10) Drop in at Home of Rest for Horses

Princess Anne visited the Speen attraction back in 2013.
