A former Olympic swimmer and a politician joined over a thousand residents for the Gerrard’s Cross fun run on Sunday.
Adrian Moorhouse, who won a gold medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, gave a speech to the 1,500 competitors before the race started at 12pm.
The MP for Beaconsfield Dominic Grieve, a regular at the event, took part again this year.
The 5k event followed a newly developed route around the residential roads of Gerrards Cross, before finishing on the East Common.
The race was won by Ross Mcgarvie in a time of 16:46. Max Mcgarvie was the fastest boy, finishing in 18:16.
