A man who was arrested on suspicion of possessing explosive after chemicals were found in a house has now been bailed.
Thames Valley Police arrested the 40-year-old man after raiding a property in The Fairway, Burnham, at about 6am on Saturday morning.
A number of chemicals were discovered at the property which meant that residents at nearby properties had to be evacuated as a precautionary measure while specialist teams arrived at the scene to carry out controlled burning of the chemicals.
Residents were allowed back into their properties at about midnight.
A 40-year-old man was Burnham has been arrested on suspicion of wasting police time, making a false report to police, possession of class B drugs with intent to supply, concerned in the production of a class A drug, and possess/control explosive with the intent to endanger life/injure property.
He has been released on police bail until August 13.
