A 95-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Chalfont St Peter yesterday (Monday).
The elderly pedestrian was involved in an accident with a black Vauxhaull Astra in Lower Road, close to the junction at Grange Road, at 5pm yesterday.
Emergency services rushed to tend to the man’s injures but sadly, he died at the scene.
The road was closed for around four hours. The driver of the car, a 38-year-old man, is not believed to have sustained any injuries.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the accident to contact PC Alan Turnbull on 101.
