Crowds formed near the Pond last weekend for Imagine Watford and the vibrant outdoor festival continues this weekend bringing a host of fun-filled family enjoyment. Most of the entertainment at the festival, which has been together by Watford Palace Theatre, takes place in The Parade, in Watford town centre and is free for everyone. Here is a list of what is to come.

Bill and Bobby

StopGap Dance Company celebrates a golden time of good old-fashioned entertainment - a time when dancing together and happily ever after went hand in hand. After a night out, two revellers wake up in a bath... convinced that the party is not over, the two friends decide to pay a tipsy dancing tribute to the silver screen. (Friday, July 1, 4.30pm and 8pm)

Bar Story

Brought to you by Etta Ermini Dance Theatre comes a transformable bar that blurs the boundaries between watching and socialising. Two bartenders and a punter engage in a quirky escapade that is full of humour, dancing, acrobatics and non-verbal storytelling as it sheds light on 21st century social interaction. (Friday, July 1, 5pm, 7.30pm and 9pm)

All at Sea

Brand new for 2016, comes a small-scale performance combining interactive theatre with melancholic humour alongside the visual poetry that Acrojou is renowned for. All at Sea is an interactive rowing boat featuring a fully-functioning mobile storm and is suitable for children and adults a like. (Friday, July 1, 5.30pm, 8.30pm and Saturday, July 2, 1.30pm and 4pm)

The Bell

A theatrical spectacle brought to you by Periplum - The Bell takes inspiration from films by Akira Kurosawa (Ran) and Andrei Tarkovsky (Andrei Rublev) to a create a potent tale of hope and redemption. The production features dynamic promenade action, mobile structures, pyrotechnics, stilts, aerial performance and soaring music. The show explores themes of war and peace. (Friday, July 1, 10pm)

Home

A brand new daring outdoor circus performance brought to you by Hikapee. The production weaves slapstick comedy with aerial acrobatic and physical performances that explore what it is to create a home. (Saturday, July 2, 2pm and 3.30pm and Sunday, July 3, 1.45pm and 5pm)

Danza Antigua

Scarebeus Aerial Theatre bring an aerial performance on stilts to Watford, which is based on the Mexican Day of the Dead Festival. Entwined together the so called living dead will sweep across in a larger than life, romantic dance macabre. Meanwhile, two mischievous graveyard goblins perform daredevil stunts. (Saturday, July 3, 2pm and 4.30pm and Sunday, July 3, 12.30pm and 3.45pm)

Les Achilles

Three dancers create an external dialogue on the reaction to war using perpetual motion set to a vibrant rhythmic music. Featuring dancers from Group Tango Sumo, comes an a performances that shows how an immense and peaceful strength can emerge. (Saturday, July 2, 2.30pm and 5pm)

Multiples

A street theatre performance where a group of identical office men make their way through the streets and take the audience with them on a journey. The show includes a series of absurd scenes from the lives of these men and criticises everyday mediocrity. (Sunday, July 3 1pm and 3pm)

Sigma

Dandini Juggling and Seeta Patel Dance present a new show that celebrates the dialogue between the worlds of juggling, dance and music. Seeta Patel, who is an award-winning choreographer will be taking part in the pieces which showcases exuberant rhythms, patterns and colours at the heart of which in a special interpretation of classical South Indian dance. (Sunday, July 3, 2.15pm and 4.15pm)
