A 23-year-old man from High Wycombe has been charged with the murder of a pensioner whose dead body was discovered on the lawn of her home last week.
One week after being called to the Marlow Bottom home of 81-year-old Albertina Choules, detectives have charged murder suspect Tautuydas Narbutas.
The Chiltern Avenue resident has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today.
Mrs Choules was killed last Wednesday following an incident at her home in Ragmans Lane, leaving the community and those who knew her best shocked and distraught.
One man was arrested on the day and officers have now charged Narbutas as part of their investigation.
Post-mortem results revealed the pensioner died from a blow to the head before being set on fire.
