A huge £30,000 stag sculpture has been unveiled at an up-market golf club.
The stag – which was created by sculptor James Doran-Webb – was officially unveiled at Harleyford Golf Club by the guest of honour MP Steve Baker in front of a small crowd of dignitaries.
Mr Doran Webb, who moved to the Philippines 30 years ago, uses dead wood to create life like animal sculptures.
Harleyford’s owners fell in love with his work when it was exhibited in Chelsea around a year ago, and asked if he would create a sculpture for the club.
The new model – which is on loan to the club and has a selling price of £30,000 – was inspired by the deer that frequently run through the golf course.
