Detectives hunting a jewellery thief who targeted a home in Gerrards Cross have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.

The burglary took place in East Common at around 11am on April 20 this year and Thames Valley Police officers have today (Tuesday) published this picture (above) in connection with the crime.

Investigating officer, PC Richard Jeffcoate of Chiltern and South Bucks LPA CID, said: "I am hoping to speak to this man who may hold vital information to assist with our ongoing investigation.”

It is possible that the man may have links to Uxbridge or the surrounding area, police confirmed.

PC Jeffcoate added: “If anyone has any information about the burglary itself but have not as yet come forward, then I would urge them to do so as soon as possible by calling me via our 24-hour non-emergency number 101."
