The body of a man was "found hanging" on the top floor of a multi-storey car park in High Wycombe town centre this morning, the Bucks Free Press understands.
A motorist is believed to have found the man's body this morning and called police, sparking an investigation and forcing the car park to be closed all morning.
Detectives have since left the scene, with the Bucks Free Press told the body was found "hanged on the top floor".
Officers have not commented on the circumstances of the death, but confirmed they are working to discover the person's identification.
Easton Street car park was closed all morning, but has since reopened after detectives finished their investigation into the circumstances of the unexplained death at the scene.
Officers attended the scene along with the ambulance service after receiving 999 calls at 7.24am this morning.
It is understood that police are still piecing together the circumstances of the death.
Thames Valley Police has not yet confirmed if they are treating the death as suspicious and have released no other details for the man.
Wycombe District Council has advised drivers to use alternative car parks in High Wycombe today.
