"Minor" delays on the Metropolitan line between Chesham, Amersham and Harrow-on-the-Hill caused chaos this morning as angry commuters took to social media to complain.
A signal failure at Rickmansworth caused trains to be delayed and even cancelled, prompting one commuter to comment: “You guys really are woeful. How come you never improve? How is that possible? Why is the Metline always utter rubbish?”
Another said: “Sorry but that is not "minor" to everyone who needs to get a train at Chesham – not being able to get a train is pretty significant,” while others were asking for refunds.
Met Line officials apologised to customers for the delays and gave advice on how to get refunds for cancelled trains.
A good service has resumed on the line.

@metline do cancelled trains still warrant a refund?

@metline please can you stop advertising a good service at Chesham when there is a cancellation. One cancelled train, means a long. Delay.
