A man has been charged with a string of offences in connection with an incident that saw multiple parked cars driven into in High Wycombe.

On Tuesday, September 13, parked cars in The Roperies, London Road, Totteridge Lane, Amersham Road and Kingshill Road were driven into by a vehicle which was also seen driving on the wrong side of the road and causing another vehicle to leave the road.

Michael Markou, of Geldeston Road, Gillingham, Norfolk, has been charged with five counts of being the driver of a vehicle failing to stop after a road accident, one count of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, two counts of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and one count of failing to provide specimen for analysis - vehicle driver.

The 42-year-old was charged on Wednesday, September 14 and appeared at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.

He has been bailed to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on October 18.
