Both High Wycombe’s A and B team were in action on Friday as they continued their Bucks Superleague darts campaign.

It proved to be a more productive weekend for the club’s B team and they played out a tense match against a competitive Loughton side.

They were forced to fight hard for the 4-3 victory and found themselves 2-0 down after a bright start from Loughton.

A superb 15 dart leg from Jon Woodbridge and fine Steve McLeod display, which included an outshot of 108, restored parity.

After falling behind again, man of the match Paul Farnes won his match to make it 3-3 before Dan Price came out on top in the evening’s decisive clash.

High Wycombe’s A team could not match the performance levels of their B team and went down to a 5-2 defeat.

Jason Cox and Dan Anstiss provided the wins for Wycombe in a match which was closer than the scoreline suggested.
