A manhunt is underway after a 38-year-old man was attacked and robbed in a High Wycombe property.

Between four and five men entered the property in Hanging Croft Close on Friday (October 14) between 2pm and 2.30pm, assaulting the victim and stealing cash, a laptop, jewellery and a tablet before making off with the goods.

The victim was believed to have sustained serious injuries and taken to Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville hospitals. He has since been discharged.

Some of the men have been described as black and others as Asian. They are described as being between 5ft 6ins and 6ft 1in, all in their late twenties with slim builds. One man was described as wearing a white peaked baseball cap.

Investigating officer, Det Con Nathan Davey of Force CID, High Wycombe, said: "We a conducting a full investigation into this offence and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.”
