Detectives are investigating following fears of a triple shooting in High Wycombe over the past two days.

At around 8.35pm yesterday evening (October 20) witnesses heard a gunshot in Chiltern Court and a bullet was later removed from a door at the property.

At around 11.50pm a gunshot was heard in Copyground Lane along with the sound of glass breaking.

Officers later discovered a silver Audi in the car park on Chiltern Court had been shot.

And at 9.17 today (October 21) officers were called to a home in Chairborough Road after an item believed to be a bullet was discovered on the living room floor.

It is believed the item entered the home through a window.

No one was hurt in any of the incidents and officers are working to find out if the incidents are linked.

Supt Ed McLean, local police area commander for Wycombe, said: “I would like to reassure people that we are in the process of carrying out a thorough investigation into these incidents, which are very rare for High Wycombe.

“Members of the public may see an increased police presence in High Wycombe today while we continue our enquiries and work to locate those responsible.”
