A farm shop in Little Marlow is running a spooky grotto with pumpkins grown on its farm in aid of charity this week.
Emmetts Farm Shop, on Marlow Road, runs its pumpkin grotto every year for a week before Halloween until October 31 – and raises money for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
The Halloween staples – which cover around five acres on the farm - are sown in mid-May, sun-ripened throughout August before being harvested and brought in from the field in early October before the frosts.
The pumpkins are then displayed in the grotto, with hundreds of children visiting during half term to choose their favourite.
There is no entry fee to the grotto, but donations for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance are welcomed.
