Roadworks on a busy town centre road in Marlow have been postponed until work on Marlow Bridge has been completed.
Transport for Bucks were due to begin work on West Street this week, but have decided to push the start date back.
Crews were due to move in tomorrow and Thursday from 7pm until 6am.
Marlow Town Council say councillor Richard Scott requested that the works be postponed, due to the bridge closure and the diversions that are already in place.
Dan Elworthy, TfB spokesman, said: "The work has been added to the end of our current programme of Plane and Patch work and will not start until the Marlow Bridge works are complete."
