Police are investigating after attempted robberies at two High Wycombe shops.

At around 7.30pm on Monday (November 28) four men entered Cryers Hill Post Office in Cryers Hill Road, and are believed to have threatened staff and demanded money.

The staff refused to comply and the men left the scene without taking anything.

At around 8.35pm, four men entered the Londis shop in Edmunds Road, Lane End, where they demanded money from the shop staff. When the staff refused, they fled the scene without taking anything.

Police believe both robberies were attempted by the same four men.
