A 16-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after suffering head injuries following a car crash in High Wycombe.
Eaton Avenue was closed in both directions after a car smashed into a telegraph pole.
It is believed the teenager was one of a number of people in the car, who are reported to have fled the scene after the crash.
A spokesman from South Central Ambulance confirmed the teenager returned to the scene and was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
The spokesman said they received a call at 12.03pm informing them of the incident.
Pictures from the scene show a brick wall has been destroyed in the crash, while the telegraph pole and the car - a black VW Golf - are both damaged.
