A family rave and “mini-festival” will be heading to the Wycombe Swan for the first time this month.

The award-winning music and event crew, Big Fish Little Fish, will be bringing their unique brand of family entertainment to High Wycombe on January 21.

Drawing on their own experience as seasoned clubbers and parents to create anarchic, social fun for all ages, in just three years BFLF has exploded from a monthly party in Brixton to become a major player on the family arts scene across the country, including special events at Selfridges Oxford Street, The National Gallery and The Museum of London Docklands.

Inspired by her lifelong love of clubbing, BFLF founder, Hannah Saunders, created the company because there was nothing like it to take her own family to - somewhere relaxed, entertaining and daft, where the adults enjoy themselves as much as the children – “a mini festival where the grown and children both have a good time.”

Each party is unique, with everything from a multisensory dancefloor of lights, glitter cannon, bubbles, and a giant parachute dance, to hula-hoop demonstrations and synthesiser workshops.

At the heart of January’s event will be Rave legends 2 Bad Mice on the decks playing club tracks with bubbles, glowsticks, glitter, crafts, play, club visuals, giant balloons, legendary parachute dance, as well as a licensed bar.

A craft table run by Captain Cookie and the Villa Pia baby chill-out and play rooms will also feature as part of the day.

Fancy dress is also encouraged to the space-themed party, which is suitable for children aged 0 to eight.

Big Fish Little Fish takes place on Saturday, January 21 from 2pm until 4pm and tickets are on sale from wycombeswan.co.uk or 01491 512 000.
