The star of last year’s Great British Bake Off is set to visit a High Wycombe school tomorrow (January 17) to officially open its new café.

Candice Brown, winner of the 2016 BBC show, will visit Wycombe Abbey, off Marlow Hill, on Tuesday to open the café, known as The Courtyard.

During her visit the star baker will try a selection of Victoria sponge cakes baked by the pupils, followed by a question and answer session.

Head teacher, Rhiannon Wilkinson, said: “We are very excited about welcoming Candice to Wycombe Abbey next week for the official opening of our new School café.

“The Courtyard is a wonderful new resource for the School which is enjoyed by pupils, parents and staff.”
