Heavy rain and gusts of up to 60mph could hit the county this week.
The Met Office has today issued a yellow warning of wind, valid from 6am until 6pm on Thursday (February 23).
Gusts of 50-60 mph are expected widely across Bucks, Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes, but a small swathe of even stronger winds may develop - most likely across parts of northern England, northern Wales and the north Midlands.
Heavy rain is also likely throughout Thursday along with some snow over high ground.
The weather service warns that the bad weather may cause travel disruptions, including restrictions of bridges as well as damage to buildings.
