Thames Valley Police has reminded south Bucks residents to “only dial 999 in an emergency” as storm Doris continues to batter parts of the county.
The police force says it is experiencing a higher number of calls than usual as strong winds move across the region, and it is working with its emergency services partners to respond to the enquiries.
TVP has encouraged people to plan their journeys accordingly and reminded that weather information is available from local radio stations, television and on the Met Office website.
News of disruption will also be shared on the TVP Twitter account, and full details on the TVP website.
