Changes could be made to the way aircraft approach Wycombe’s airfield, if plans are given the green light.
Wycombe Air Park, in Booker, has launched a public consultation into the introduction of a new satellite navigation system - which would provide satellite guidance to runway 24 in the aerodrome.
Air park bosses say the new system will increase safety during poor weather conditions compared with the current “visual approach”.
According to diagrams released by the air park the new approach appears to extend from High Wycombe through Amersham and Chesham.
The consultation will run until June 7 this year with informal drop in sessions taking place on Saturday, March 25 from 11am to 2pm and Tuesday, April 25 from 4pm to 6.30pm.
