Hundreds of flats are set to be built in High Wycombe as another major development project for the town centre emerges.
Wycombe District Council has given developers, Inland Homes, the green light to build 239 apartments at the former Gas Works site in Lily’s Walk.
The new homes will include six studio flats, 137 one bedroom flats and 96 two bedroom flats, along with car parking, landscaping and “public realm improvements”, and 1,472 sqm of non residential floor space.
Work on the development is expected to be completed by December 2019.
The new plans are not a council led project however it coincides with the construction of the alternative route in the town centre and regeneration in Desborough.
