A lorry and two cars were set alight in suspected arson attacks in separate incidents in Chesham in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday) morning.
Firefighters from Amersham and Berkhampsted were called out to a car fire spreading to a hedge in Lyndhurst Road at 3.24am, where they used two hose reels to tackle the blaze, and one set of breathing apparatus.
Crews from High Wycombe then attended another car fire in Pearce Road at 3.48am, where they also used a hose reel and breathing apparatus.
Firefighters from Amersham were called out to a lorry blaze in Shortway at around 4.40am. The fire was out on arrival.
Bucks Fire tweeted a picture of a burnt out car and fire crews at the scene of one of the incidents.
It is not known whether the incidents were linked, however police became involved to "establish motive and any possible suspects".
