A man who was discovered dead in water at The Rye last week has been named by coroners.
The body of 35-year-old Daniel Prince was uncovered from The Dyke in the High Wycombe park on Tuesday, April 25 after a concerned member of the public raised the alarm at around 7.12 am.
Firefighters from Bucks Fire and Rescue recovered the body from the water, providing assistance to South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Police.
An inquest into the death of Mr Prince, who is from Broad Street in Chesham, was opened today (May 2) although a closing date is yet to be set.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and the next of kin have been informed.
