‘Never before seen’ photographs of pop icon David Bowie will be displayed in High Wycombe this summer as part of a nationwide tour.

Following 2016's sell out tour nine extra locations have been added to the 'David and I' roadshow, featuring photographs by Bowie’s official photographer - Denis O’Regan.

More than 40 photographs will be displayed at the Sytner Mini showroom on 575 to 647 London Road for one night only on the evening of Thursday, July 13.

The display includes photos which have never seen by the public before, documenting Mr O’Regan’s time touring the world with the late pop-legend.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to coming to High Wycombe for this exhibition, which pulls together a decade of travelling around the world with David.

“It’s been a real trip down memory lane for me, of time I spent with a great, great friend, both on stage and during our down time between concerts.”

The ‘David and I’ tour was launched in conjunction with Off Beat Lounge – which curates, exhibits and manages limited edition music photography.

Mr O’Regan photographed Bowie’s ‘Serious Moonlight’ tour in 1983, the Glass Spider tour in 1987 and the Sound and Vision Tour in 1990.

He was also the photographer for high profile events including The Concert for Diana and Live Aid, also touring the world throughout the 1980s and 1990s for acts including the Rolling Stones, Queen, Duran Duran and Pink Floyd.

Some exhibition ticket holders will get the chance to attend a meet and greet session with Mr O’Regan as he discusses life on the road with the rock icon.

This is Off Beat Lounge’s second UK tour following the success of its 2015 Bruce Springsteen exhibition, which saw fans travel across Europe to attend.

A spokesman for Off Beat Lounge said: “The collaboration between Denis O’Regan and Off Beat Lounge will mean that fans can view this unique and personal photographic collection at one night exhibition events, giving them the chance to see rare, intimate moments from back stage, relaxing between gigs and on stage.”
