A man who died after he was hit by a Chiltern Railways train last month has been named by coroners.
Robert Bentley, of Waller Road, Beaconsfield, was killed after he was hit by the train near Beaconsfield Railway Station on April 28.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 3.50pm, and it was confirmed that the collision was fatal, with the 21-year-old sadly being pronounced dead at the scene.
British Transport Police said the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
The line was reopened by Chiltern Railways around an hour after the incident and there were delays of more than an hour between Gerrards Cross and High Wycombe.
An inquest into Mr Bentley’s death is expected to take place on Wednesday, August 30.
