A car crashed into a shop in Beaconsfield this afternoon, narrowly missing pedestrians, according to eye witnesses.

Emergency services were called after the car hit the Pyramid Pharmacy – formerly Lloyds Pharmacy - in Station Road at around 4.45pm today (May 22).

A picture taken by a shocked onlooker shows the crushed vehicle on the pavement.

Thames Valley Police Tweeted at 5.30pm to say it is currently at the crash scene and “minor injuries” have been reported.

One fire crew from Beaconsfield and one from High Wycombe attended the scene and gave first aid to a man.
