A seaside-themed village fete and classic car show will form part of a three-day celebration in Naphill and Walters Ash next month.

Following huge success last year, Napfest will return on Friday, June 9 and the weekend-long party will kick off with a music event called Music on the Crick. Leading the music from 6pm will be The Deps Band, Tiger Lily from London, and Littlewing with their own brand of music.

The music event is also set to feature a disco for all ages and a singalong.

The fete on The Crick, which will have a seaside-themed fancy dress competition, will be free to enter from 12pm, and will feature bands, a choir, keep-fit displays and dogs as well as a variety of stalls and refreshment stands.

Classic car enthusiasts will be descending on the village on Sunday for the last day of the celebration, with a classic car show along with an auction and refreshments.

Tickets for Friday’s music event can be bought in advance from www.napfest.eventbrite.co.uk or on the gate. Tickets are £10 for adults online or £12 on the day. Children’s tickets will cost £5 on the day or £2 in advance, with under-fives going in free.
