Ken Livingstone held a talk at the Reason Coffee Shop and Bookstore last night.
The audience for the former Mayor of London and Labour Party politician was reportedly spilling out onto the street from the small shop.
Attendees went along armed with his book Being Red: A Politics for the Future, published in 2016, which seeks to offer insight into the party as well as the highs and lows of its socialist ethos.
One guest, Tania Clarke, commented on Facebook: “Really interesting opinions expressed and heard.”
Another visitor Lauren Curr said on Twitter: “Just attended a very interesting post-election talk by Ken Livingstone, discussing a variety of topics in front of 20 odd people.”
