Hundreds of car enthusiasts descended on a Beaconsfield garage at the weekend to marvel at an array of past and future supercars to raise money for charity.
Star guest Beverly Craven joined around 300 people at A J Dunlop, in London End, as the garage hosted its seventh annual classic car open day on Saturday (June 17) to raise money for the MS Society – a cause close to owner Alex Dunlop's heart.
Aficionados enjoyed a range of vehicles, from an early 1930s Singer Le Mans to a 1970s Jensen Interceptor, as well as a McLaren 570 GT, a Mustang and an Austin 7, as well as a “car of the future”, the Tesla Model X.
Speaking about Beverley Craven, owner Mr Dunlop said: “She is simply the most lovely lady and it was a joy to have her company.”
Visitors enjoyed live music by Jason Stretch and John Davis, as well as plenty of food and drinks.
Mr Dunlop added that it had been a “wonderful day”, saying: “This year we chose the MS society as our charity, and whilst we haven't quite finished counting, so far we have raised over £2,000, beating our achievement from last year.
“My sister, Sophie, suffers from the condition as does my mother-in-law.
“I am very grateful to everyone who supported us, from the owners who allowed us to display their cars to the support from friends, family and my team.”
