Plans for a new kids' block including a toddler gym and a nursery have been put forward for the Handy Cross Hub.

The proposed new development – which is near the entrance to the site and is just over 800 square metres – will be a nursery and a toddler gym.

If planning permission is granted, builders will be on site in the autumn, with the new centre opened by summer 2018.

Handy X Hub is already home to the new Wycombe Leisure Centre, the coachway park and ride and Waitrose.

The site is owned by Wycombe District Council and is being redeveloped as part of the council's major projects programme, which regenerates areas as well as creating an income stream to help fund district council services.
