A 75-year-old man from High Wycombe has been charged with two other people in connection with the murder of a Slough teenager.
Wa-ays Dhaye was brutally murdered in Thurston Road, Slough, by High Wycombe teenager Khianni Gordon, 18, who was found guilty of murder as well as perverting the course of justice and jailed for life.
Now James Barker, 75 of St Hughs Avenue, High Wycombe, Wesley Barker, 40, of Pentlands Road, Slough, and Sophia Corbyn, 47, of Ripley Road, Reading, have each been charged with one count of perverting the course of justice.
They are due to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 27) after being arrested on February 28 and charged on May 24, police confirmed today.
18-year-old Wa-ays was just yards from his home and alone when he was ambushed.
Kaneel Huggins, 19, and Antwon Clarke, 18, both also from High Wycombe, were found guilty of manslaughter after Wa-ays was stabbed eight times in the savage attack two years ago.
The trio – Gordon, Huggins and Clarke – were jailed for a combined 38 years, with Huggins’ and Clarke’s sentences being increased from 10 years and nine years respectively, to 16 years and 15 years respectively, last year.
