A woman who was being arrested in connection to a robbery in Chalfont St Peter escaped with handcuffs on.

It comes after a group of three men and soon after a group of five other men were robbed in Denham Lane just after 3.30am today (Friday) by two men and a woman.

The two groups of victims are believed to have enjoyed a night out at Winkers nightclub. Items stolen include mobile phones, jewellery, a gold signet ring, a Hamilton Skeleton watch and wallets.

The female offender has been described as white with long dyed red or brown hair, about 5ft 9ins and of medium build.

Police said no descriptions of the male offenders are available except that they are white.

Police have arrested a 21-year-old man from Chalfont St Peter on suspicion of robbery.

They said they attempted to arrest a woman but she fled the scene with a set of handcuffs attached to one of her wrists.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Daniel McKenzie of the investigation hub, said: “The offenders were holding unknown weapons when they threatened the victims, who are all men aged between 19 and 23.

“Two of the victims were hit and sustained head injuries but have since been discharged from hospital.”
