A man has been charged and another man arrested in connection with two robberies in Chalfont St Peter.
Sam Griffiths, 21, of Layters End, Chalfont St Peter, has been charged after a group of five men were robbed in Denham Lane just after 3.30am last Friday (June 23) by three people.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the robberies and has been released under investigation.
Griffiths, has been charged with four counts of robbery, four counts of attempted robbery and one count of threatening a person with a knife in a public place.
He appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and has been remanded in custody to appear there again on July 25.
Police are still appealing for information after a woman, who was being arrested in connection to the robbery, escaped with handcuffs on her wrists.
