Watford’s summer, outdoor performance and arts festival finished last night after running for two weekends.

Imagine Watford, programmed by Watford Palace Theatre, brought theatrical characters, acrobats flying through the air, contemporary dance, a roaming New Orleans brass band, mechanical structures, a massive game of bingo, an aerial circus spectacular and more to The Parade and High Street in Watford between June 24 and July 2.

"This year's Imagine Watford Festival has been a huge success,” says Jamie Arden, Imagine Watford Festival director and executive director at the Watford Palace Theatre.

“We programmed more acts then last year which could be felt on the pace of programme with one act after another. We stepped up with whole feel of the festival as well with inclusion of colourful bunting signage along the parade.”

Elected Mayor of Watford Dorothy Thornhill says: “Imagine Watford is one of the highlights of our community year with the whole town coming together to enjoy world class outdoor performances in the town centre. Bring the family and stay for the day.”
