Baking queen Mary Berry will bowl guests over at a “cricket tea” event in a south Bucks village.
Penn and Tyles Green Cricket Club will host its inaugural Great Village Cricket Tea, with the Bake Off star and Penn resident judging “cricket tea” themed bakes, posing for selfies and signing autographs.
Prizes will be on offer for the best creations.
Guests will also enjoy live music with bands such as Loud Mountains, Cherry Valentines and The Savannahs, bouncy castles, pole joust, giant games, children’s cricket games and sports coaching, a petting zoo, face painting and plenty of food and drink, including beer and prosecco.
Organisers promise a fun-filled and relaxing afternoon for the family and all proceeds will go towards the club’s junior cricket programme and ground development.
Ticket prices include all the entertainment on the day. For more information, go to www.ptgcc.co.uk.
