Aerial footage shows dozens of caravans in Chalfont St Peter.
Travellers moved on to Goldhill Common yesterday and Chalfont St Peter Parish Council has warned school children and dog walkers to avoid the area.
Thames Valley Police are currently taking action, according to the leader of Chiltern District Council, Isobel Darby who urged residents to be “vigilant”.
A video taken at 6am today, as seen on the Chalfont St Peter Facebook page, shows dozens of caravans and other vehicles parked on the common.
Comments on the video appear to be mixed, with some residents saying there was "nothing wrong" with them being on the site as long as they did not cause trouble or leave rubbish behind, while others were more wary.
