Kind-hearted staff at a south Bucks care home hosted a garden party for its residents.
Residents, as well as their families, were treated to plenty of food, drink and entertainment at White Plains Care Home’s annual summer garden party earlier this month.
The Denham-based care home’s engagement lead for activities, Wendy Jefferies, said the friendship among staff, residents and family and friends was “evident to see” on the day.
She said: “Residents were busy making handcrafted cards, tea light holders and hand knitted goodies, along with vintage jewellery, all for sale for our big day.
“Morale was high…we are all so proud to be part of this ever-so-happy home.”
Guests and residents were treated to entertainment by musician Michael O’Hare and magic by Magic Marcom, as well as plenty of food and drink.
Ms Jefferies added: “We were so lucky as the rain finally subsided just in time to get floral blooms arranged by residents.
“We've all played a part in making this a spectacular event. Age is just a number. We make the most of every day.”
