A "beloved" pet dog has been stolen by burglars who broke into a farm in Bledlow Ridge.
Fawn coloured French Bulldog Layla was taken at some point between 7.30am and 10.30am on July 13.
Burglars broke into a locked stable inside a farm and took the pet, who is just over one-years-old.
Investigating officer, PC Josie Lawrence from High Wycombe Police Station said: "This has been a distressing incident for the victim who has lost a beloved pet, and enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible.
"If anyone has been offered a French Bulldog for sale, or if anyone witnessed the incident or any suspicious behaviour in the area around the time of the incident, please call the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting reference 43170208496."
