A car fire caused chaos on the M25 this afternoon.
All traffic was being held going clockwise between J15 (M4) and J16 (M40) and drivers were being warned of delays building on approach, as emergency services worked to clear the scene.
Traffic links reported smoke blowing across the road, and pictures from the scene showed a vehicle on fire in the hard shoulder, and long queue building up.
All lanes have now opened and Highways England confirmed delays are easing.
