Spice Girls themed theatre show Wannabe will hit the stage at the Wycombe Swan in the Autumn, featuring all of the band’s greatest hits.

Following their international success in the 90s, the music of the Spice Girls will be performed on stage at the High Wycombe theatre 21 years after their debut single topped the charts.

Wannabe went on to become one of the bestselling singles of all time, reaching the top spot in 37 countries and selling over six million copies worldwide.

The show has been building its success for a decade and now Scary, Posh, Ginger, Baby and Sporty Spice will take to the stage at the Wycombe Swan on September 9 as part of their international tour.

Well known hits such as Viva Forever, 2 Become 1, Who Do You Think You Are and an arranged medley covering the girls’ solo careers are just a few of the songs that will be performed during the show.

Spokesman for the show, Anna Slater, said: “We’re all obsessed with 90s music and we wanted to make a big splash with this huge concert tour. We’re creating the ultimate girls night out and who doesn’t know the words to Spice Up Your Life or Stop.”
