A teenager has been arrested after a man was stabbed in the cheek in a High Wycombe alleyway in the early hours of Sunday morning.
At around 1.20am on August 13 a 23-year-old man was attacked in the alleyway leading from Micklefield Road to Hawthorn Road.
The victim was rushed to hospital however he has since been discharged.
A 15-year-old boy from Downley has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause GBH and has bene released under investigation.
Police have described the incident as a "targeted attack" and are urging witnesses to come forward.
Investigating officer Detective Constable David Mitchell, said: "We are carrying out a full investigation into this incident.
"I would like to reassure the public that we believe that this was a targeted attack, and that we have made an arrest in connection with the incident.
"If anyone witnessed this offence, or has any information relating to it, they should call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101."
